The Moon That Embraces the Sun (해를 품은 달) is a 2012 South Korean historical drama series adapted from the novel with the same title, that tells of a secret, poignant love story between a fictional king of the Joseon Dynasty and a female psychic against the background of the Korean traditional palace. The series won for best drama and best actor award at the 2012 Baeksang Art Awards.
Author Jeong Eun Gwol also wrote the novel-turned-TV drama Sungkyunkwan Scandal.
